The Davies Family

Mila Coffee Co. has been a pipe dream of ours for a while now. We finally took the plunge and put wheels into motion in July 2015.

Brett (born and raised in Adelaide) is our roaster and Lauren (originally from the Barossa Valley) takes care of the graphic design, marketing, social media, sales and just about everything else!

A family owned and run business, we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and awesome quality coffee beans. Beans that have been hand picked and lovingly roasted to guarantee you top quality and absolute freshness.

ROASTED TO ORDER.

We never pre-roast our beans. We have green beans that are always roasted fresh to order.

You will receive your super fresh beans just days after being roasted. This guarantees you always have perfectly fresh roasted coffee beans. Every time.


KEEPING IT FRESH.

The best way to store our beans is sealed in their black bag, away from light and heat. No need to store them in the fridge!

Please use your beans within four weeks of the roast date printed on the front of the bag (yeah sure, like they are going to last that long!).

REGION: South Minas Gerais
SCREEN SIZE: 16/18
VARIETY: Mundo Novo, Acaia, Catuai and Icatu
PROCESS METHOD: Natural

TASTING NOTES: Hazelnuts, cocoa and creamy texture upfront with long citrus acid and a medium, silky body. Leads to a milk chocolate finish.


COLOMBIA EXCELSO POPAYAN TACUEYO

REGION: Popayan, Department of Cauca
VARIETY: Caturra, Typica, Colombia and Castillo
SCREEN SIZE: 15/18
PROCESS METHOD: Fully Washed

TASTING NOTES: A highly brilliant and complex cup with notes of blackcurrant and green apple. Rich with a silky and creamy body highlighting the cocoa and honey long-lingering finish.


COSTA RICA SHB DOTA TARRAZU

REGION: Santa Marta de Dota
SCREEN SIZE: 15/17
VARIETY: Caturra and Catuai
PROCESS METHOD: Fully Washed

TASTING NOTES: Delicate and poised cup with black tea notes upfront and a lemon and stonefruit acidity. Juicy body leading through to a long and balanced toffee finish.


GUATEMALA SHB HUEHUETENANGO RIO AZUL

REGION: Jacaltenango
SCREEN SIZE: 17/18
VARIETY: Caturra 60% and Bourbon 40%
PROCESS METHOD: Fully Washed

TASTING NOTES: Big, bright and juicy cup with chocolate and peanut notes. Lovely balance with a mild spice and berry like acidity.

PROCESS METHOD: Fully Washed

TASTING NOTES: Beautifully balanced cup, malt characters with a lush syrupy body and notes of sweet rich chocolate.


THE FINN BLEND (Seasonal Selection)

BLEND: Brazil Ipanema Dulce / Guatemala Huehuetenango / Colombia Popayan Tacueyo

TASTING NOTES: Rich and smooth, this blend has sweet dark chocolate and hazelnut like flavours. Underlying sweetness of berries and plums balance the rich profiles perfectly.
