ABOUT US
Mila Coffee Co. is the creation of husband and wife team – Brett & Lauren Davies. It all came together in 2015 out of a passion for specialty coffee, working together, and wanting to share their love of all things coffee.
Brett (born and raised in Adelaide) is our roaster. His background in wine has helped him hone his skills and develop his palate – perfect for tasting coffee!
Lauren (originally from the Barossa Valley) takes care of the graphic design, marketing, social media, sales and logistics.
Along with their two children, and little dog Macchiato, the Davies family are settled in beautiful Adelaide, South Australia.
OUR ETHOS
At Mila Coffee Co. we believe great coffee starts long before it reaches your cup. We work closely with farmers and cooperatives we trust, sourcing our coffee responsibly and with purpose.
Family owned and deeply passionate, our farm-to-cup ethos means every bean is chosen with care for the people who grow it, and the people who drink it.
ROASTED TO ORDER
We never pre-roast our beans. We roast daily so our coffee is always roasted fresh to order.
You will receive your super fresh beans just days after being roasted. This guarantees you always have perfectly fresh coffee beans every time.
KEEPING IT FRESH
The best way to store our beans is sealed in their bag, away from light and heat.
Although coffee never technically goes out of date it does lose its freshness and flavour, our coffee is best consumed within 3 weeks of roast date but will still bring joy for 6 weeks from the roast date.
